- Pioneered Small Incision Lenticule extraction (SMILE) in India, and a high volume SMILE surgeon
- Pioneered blade free Femtocatarct technology in India
- Performed the first iLASIK (Bladeless LASIK) in India
- First to install Zyoptix (Bladeless LASIK) in India
- First to introduce Phakic IOLs in India
- He is widely credited to be the pioneer & propagate the technique of Phacoemulsification for Cataract surgery
